UF External Vendor Policy

Faculty or staff members at the University of Findlay are not permitted to enter into a contractual agreement of any kind or agree to pay and external vendor for any services related to marketing, advertising, or any web services* (including design) of any kind unless they receive in writing permission to do so from the Marketing Director or the Vice President of Enrollment Management and Marketing.

All projects must be vetted through the Office of Marketing and Communications prior to determining if an outside vendor is to be used.

If a faculty or staff member does enter into an agreement with an external vendor without prior consent from Marketing and Communications, payments for the services rendered are the sole responsibility of the individual and not The University of Findlay.

*Web Services and the Division of ITS is exempt.
